NetIQ Cloud Manager Named a Preferred Product in Reader’s Choice Award from Virtualization Review
NetIQ® today announced that NetIQ Cloud Manager has been named a “Preferred Product” in the Cloud Software category for the 2013 Virtualization Review Reader’s Choice Awards.
NetIQ Cloud Manager delivers a complete Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) experience for both IT consumers and IT providers, with a focus on end-to-end business service delivery. It gives IT service providers, as well as business and technical users, a single product to build, manage, and consume cloud computing resources. NetIQ Cloud Manager allows users to build on the virtual infrastructure they may already have in place to help them control virtual sprawl, increase the speed of business service delivery and also help to improve cost transparency.
“It’s gratifying to know that our customers and colleagues in this industry believe we’re helping organizations extend and improve the performance of virtualized infrastructures to achieve true cloud computing services,” said Mike Robinson, senior product marketing manager at NetIQ. “Of the plethora of new cloud products that have been developed to meet the growing demands of IT teams, we are honored that NetIQ Cloud Manager has achieved such recognition and distinction by Virtualization Review readers for its contributions to the industry.”
E-mail invitations were sent to Virtualization Review readers in October 2012 to vote on more than 446 products. Responses were collected during a two-week period. A team of editors reviewed the results to ensure that they legitimately came from our readers.
“In the course of sitting through an endless stream of briefings with virtualization and cloud vendors, I almost always find that when I ask vendors to list their primary competitors, they usually say there really isn’t anyone else who does exactly what they do,” says Bruce Hoard, editor in chief of Virtualization Review. “The fact is a lot of vendors are shooting for the same goals, but in different ways. That’s where the annual Virtualization Review Reader’s Choice Awards enables users to assess hundreds of products in single, central location.”
