NOTE:ID Console 1.4 supports eDirectory 9.2.4 HF2, Identity Manager Engine 4.8.3 HF2 and their respective later versions. In addition, secondary servers connected to eDirectory tree require these versions to access Identity Console. You must upgrade your eDirectory and Identity Manager Engine instances before using with this version of Identity Console.
When you want to configure Identity Console with multiple eDirectory trees, you can skip “ldapserver”, “ldapuser”, and “ldappassword” parameters and create the configuration file.
The “bcert” parameter value must include directory path for trusted root certificates. For example, bcert = "/etc/opt/novell/eDirAPI/cert/". The “origin” parameter used for passing DNS information is independent of “check-origin” parameter and is mandatory when DNS configuration is used.
For information about upgrading eDirectory 9.2.4 HF2 to higher version, see eDirectory 9.2 and for information about upgrading Identity Manager 4.8.3 HF2 to higher version, see Identity Manager 4.8. eDirectory 9.2.4 HF2 and Identity Manager 4.8.3 HF2 are the minimum supported versions required for Certificate Management EBA.

Issue: eDirectory mandates certain specifications when configured with non-default port.
Workaround: You must ensure to specify the port number, if eDirectory is configured with non-default port during log in to Identity Console.
Issue: In the Identity Console Login page, when you are using multi trees, you must specify Server IP or DNS to access Identity Console.
This issue is observed only when using multiple trees.
