AM-SM Connector Error: CSMAccess.GetGenericInfo: Unhandled Error! AMSMServer 94 Invalid use of Null (NETIQKB71025)

The AppManager Connector for Security Manager fails to forward events, with the following message generated in the log: 'CSMAccess.GetGenericInfo: Unhandled Error! AMSMServer 94 Invalid use of Null'
Unable to monitor NetIQ Security Manager 6.0 or AppManager 7.0.x with the existing AppManager Connector for NetIQ Security Manager.

AM7.0.1_Hotfix71025 has been made available in order to correct the issues associated with this KB article.  To correct these issues, please download and install AM7.0.1_Hotfix71025.  You can download the Hotfix bundle from the following location:

Why Install this Hotfix?

This hotfix is recommended for all users running AppManager Connector for Security Manager version 7.0 and AppManager version 7.0. and later.

This hotfix provides support for NetIQ Security Manager version 6.0. In addition, this hotfix corrects a problem in which the URL for Security Manager alerts cannot be determined, causing the connector to fail.

Installing the Hotfix

Run AM70_SMConnector_Setup.exe only once on your Security Manager agent and repository computers. All the connector files will be installed in the \NetIQ\AMSM directory.

 

The Connector is not currently supported on AppManager 7.0.x or Security Manager 6.0.
