2.3 September 2013 Patch Release

The September 2013 Patch Release for Operations Center v5.0 contains the following functionality and enhancements described in the following topics:

2.3.1 Updated DBMS Support

Operations Center now supports the following database management systems:

  • Microsoft SQL 2012

2.3.2 Updated SNMP Support

The SNMP Adapter now supports SNMP version 3, except for the auto discovery of devices.

The following enhancements are now available on management system adapters:

2.3.4 Alarm History

All alarm columns for historical alarms are always available in the Operations Center console Alarms view. Previously, the adapter was required to be running in order to access all alarm history columns.

Operations Center now records user information when closing an Event Manager alarm.

2.3.5 Layout Portlet Enhancements

The following enhancements are now available in Operations Center Dashboard Layoutportlets:

  • New back/history option now allows easy navigation to previously viewed parent elements.

  • New feature allows element configuration to link to a fully qualified URL. Clicking the element opens the URL instead of drilling into the hierarchy.

  • SVG tooltips are now supported for IE9 and Firefox.

  • The SVG viewer is no longer required to view SVG content in IE9 and later.
