The initial setup for NetIQ Access Manager consists of installing the components and setting up the Identity Server and the Access Gateway to protect resources running on an HTTP Web server. Access Manager can also be configured to protect other resources such as non-HTTP applications. These should be set up after you have created a basic setup.
