Privileged Account Manager provides you an option to change the data store from default SQlite database to any external LDAP server. To change the data store, perform the following steps:
On the home page of the console, click Enterprise Credential Vault.
In the left pane, click Datastore.
In the middle pane, click Settings.
In the right pane, select the appropriate data store, such as SQLite-Native Database or LDAP.
If you have selected LDAP as the data store, you must perform the following:
Add the LDAP server in Privileged Account Manager. See Adding a Datastore.
Extend the schema in the configured LDAP server to support Privileged Account Manager objects. See Extending the LDAP Directory Schema.
Migrate the data from SQLite database to the LDAP server. See Migrating Enterprise Credential Vault Objects to LDAP Datastore.
(Optional) If you have multiple LDAP servers configured, set their precedence. See Modifying the Directory Precedence.
