You can configure multiple LDAP datastores in Privileged Account Manager. If these LDAP datastores are spanned geographically, you can configure the Framework Manager to contact the nearest LDAP directory to improve the latency. By default, the datastore on the top of the list is considered as the primary datastore. You can modify the primary datastore for every instance of the framework manager by modifying their precedence.
To modify the precedence of the data store, perform the following steps:
On the home page of the console, click Enterprise Credential Vault.
In the middle pane, click Settings.
In the right pane, click Precedence.
In the Set Precedence window, click the appropriate Privileged Account Manager instance.
Select the required datastore and click the up arrow or down arrow icon to move the data store according to the precedence.
Click Save.
