Targets are resources for which the associated privileged accounts can be detected with the discovery process. Targets include new targets added on Targets and resources retrieved from Resources page.

Discovery of Windows host type is supported for the NTLM mode.
Currently, PAM do not support discovery of double byte character users. If the double byte character users are available, then an error is displayed in logs indicating some accounts are not discovered.
Ensure to install and enable WinRM in Windows target to support discovery, else discovery fails. Generally, server OS includes the WinRM service. Windows 10 or 11 might not have it installed. Therefore, it is required to be installed manually. For more information, Windows Remote Management.
