To modify the rule applied to a target or more than one similar type of targets, perform the following:
Select the preferred targets for which you want to update the rule from Targets page.
NOTE:You cannot select targets of different type for updating the rule. If different targets types are selected then invalid selection error message is displayed.
Click Actions > Update Discovery Rule.
The Update Discovery Rule window appears.
Select the preferred rule from Discovery Rules.
Click Update.
