Database Element and Alarm definitions have options to define one or more custom property pages. Properties available in the pane’s tab are also available for inclusion in an element or alarm custom property pages.
To define a custom property page:
In the
pane, select an element or alarm definition.In the right pane, click the
icon:If no pages have been defined, the tab pane is empty.
Click (
).A new page displays in the
tab.You might want to rename the new page.
To rename a custom property page:
Click the associated tab for the property page to display the
tab.Click (
) to open the Rename Property Page dialog box:Specify the new name in the field.
Click
to rename the property page.To add properties to a page:
Select the property IDs in the
section of the table:Do one of the following:
To select all properties listed, click (
).All properties are highlighted.
To select multiple noncontiguous properties, hold the Ctrl keyboard button while clicking the properties.
To select multiple contiguous properties, select the first property, then hold the Shift keyboard button while clicking the last property.
All properties in between the first and last properties are highlighted.
Click (
) or ( ) to add the selected properties to the section of the table.Click the value in the associated row of the
column and specify the name to display in the property page.To reorder the properties on a property page:
Select the property in the
section of the table.To move the property up in the list, click (
).To move the property down in the list, click (
).To delete a property from the property page:
Select the property in the
section of the table.In the
header, click ( ) to remove the unwanted property.The property is removed.
To delete a property page:
Click the property page’s tab to open it inside the
tab.In the upper right corner of the tab, click (
) to delete the selected page.The property page is removed.
