Directory and Resource Administrator and Exchange Administrator 9.1.1 improves usability and resolves several previous issues.

Many of these improvements were made in direct response to suggestions from our customers. We thank you for your time and valuable input. 1.0 What’s New

This release addresses customer issues. There are no new features.

3.0 Installing This Version

This service pack includes a full version of DRA. You can install this version in a clean environment or upgrade an existing installation from one of the following versions:

  • DRA 9.0

  • DRA 9.0.1

  • DRA 9.0.2

  • DRA 9.0.3

  • DRA 9.1

  • Resolved an issue that prevented users from searching all managed objects from all user pages in the Web Console. (ENG345670)

  • Resolved an issue where the default setting “include child containers” was not being checked by default. (ENG345654)

  • Resolved an issue where creating a custom power over a specific DRA Virtual attribute was not applying the power to custom fields in the Web Console. (ENG345578)

  • Resolved an issue that failed to show users added to a group in the Web Console when starting the console with a manually typed REST/HOST server and no preexisting browser cache. (ENG345568)

  • Resolved an issue that prevented searching on the “name” property for new attributes created in the Customize Web Console pages. (ENG345454)

  • Resolved an issue that displayed an error and failed to create a UPN suffix in the Create New user page after customization of the page with additional tabs followed by an upgrade from 9.0.3 to 9.1.0. (ENG345427)

  • Resolved an issue that prevented the Web Console from returning to the Home page after clicking OK to submit a workflow event. (ENG345425)

  • Resolved an issue that created a non-unique display name for a cloned Mail Enabled Universal Distribution group when using the Web Console. ( ENG345373)

  • Resolved an issue that removed custom tabs created in the REST Web Console when you upgrade from 9.0.x to 9.1. ( ENG345338)

  • Resolved an issue that failed to open a user account tab when you upgrade from 9.0.x to 9.1. (ENG345335)

  • Resolved an issue that prevented the Manage Object page from saving in the Custom Workflow Form Builder of the Web Console. (ENG345330)

  • Resolved an issue that prevented the Web Console from applying the search filter for Pre-Windows 2000 Name correctly. (ENG345727)

  • Resolved an issue that prevented the user account password from being reset in the user property page of the Web Console. ( ENG345692)

  • Resolved an issue that prevented a group update operation from being submitted when it is modified in the User property page of the Web Console. ( ENG345931)

  • Resolved an issue that prevented viewing and configuring Exchange 2016 Mailbox Rights or Mailbox Security using the Web Console. (ENG345913)

  • Resolved an issue that prevented search results from displaying the value set of the EmailAddress attribute for contacts. (ENG345912)

  • Resolved an issue where the OK button does not close the user Member Of tab in the Web Console after executing the Apply button, but instead tries to replicate the Apply action. (ENG345881)

  • Resolved an issue that prevented the value set for the Time interval from being sent to the Automation Server when using the Workflow Process Automation form in DRA. (ENG345865)

  • Resolved an issue where the Time interval field in a DRA Workflow Process Automation form was marked as required, which prevented users from submitting the form. (ENG345864)

  • Resolved an issue that prevented a user from creating an Exchange Enabled Contact from the Web Console. (ENG345849)

  • Resolved an issue that prevented the creation of a Home directory with a DFS path and username suffix value. (ENG345955)

5.0 Known Issues

5.1 Customized Object Properties Pages Not Loading After Upgrade

After upgrading DRA and REST servers from 9.1 to 9.1 SP1, Create or Edit User Properties pages are not loading.

Workaround: Perform a hard refresh on the browser after upgrade to clear the cache and reload the pages. Ctrl+Shift+R or Ctrl+F5 will work with most browsers. For more commands, Wikipedia has an article on this subject at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Bypass_your_cache.
