Self Service Password Reset contains many different modules to provide different functionality presented to users. You can configure settings in the module to apply to different user groups by creating different profiles. For more information, see Section 7.0, Configuring Policies.
Self Service Password Reset divides the modules into two different categories: authenticated and public. This chapter contains the information about how to configure the public modules. For information about the authenticated modules, see Section 5.0, Configuring Authenticated Modules for Self Service Password Reset.
The public modules are available to any users that access the Self Service Password Reset user page. These modules are public because these services are available for users that have forgotten their credentials, new users that do not have an account yet, or to active user accounts.
