The Web console enables you to create and apply exceptions that can include multiple policy templates. This batch method for exceptions still requires you to specify the combination of endpoints or groups plus any security checks in the chosen policy templates. Secure Configuration Manager applies the exceptions every time that you run one of the specified policy templates. In this way, you are not required to run the policy templates against the relevant assets before creating the exception.
Start from one of the following locations in the Web console:
Manage > Endpoints
Manage > Endpoints > Groups
Assess > Policy Templates
NOTE:You can also create exceptions from within an assessment report and edit an existing exception.
