You can generate a report without an existing report definition from one of the following locations in the Web console:
As you generate the report, you can save your settings as a new report definition. The following procedure provides an example of starting from .

Click .

Select the endpoints that you want to include in the dynamic report.
You can select any combination of endpoints, regardless of their operating system or endpoint type.

Click .

Specify the category of dynamic report that you want to use, then click .

Select the policy templates that you want to include in the dynamic report, then click .

Specify the and (optional) .

For , specify the range of time within which you want to gather assessment results associated with the selected endpoints and policy templates.

(Optional) To save these settings as a report definition, complete the following steps:

Click , then specify a name and description.

Click .
If the policy templates have not been run against the endpoints in the specified time frame, then the Web console responds with “No data found.” You can modify the time frame, endpoints, or policy templates.

(Optional) In the preview, select to preview the results for each policy template included in the dynamic report.

(Optional) Modify the report settings and preview again until you are satisfied with the results.

In the Preview, click .
The Web console automatically displays the report.

(Conditional) To view the report results at a future time, click , then open the saved report.
