14.3 Managing Shared Key Domain

You can modify or delete a shared key or key domain only if the key is not in a checked out state.

14.3.1 Modifying Shared Key Domain

You can modify a shared key domain if the keys in that domain are not in use. You can modify a domain to change the name, or change the user limit from single user to multiuser or vice versa. You cannot modify the type for a domain.

To modify a shared key domain, perform the following on the Enterprise Credential Vault:

  1. In the left pane, click Shared Key Management.

  2. In the middle pane, double-click the required domain.

    or

    In the middle pane, click the edit icon for the required domain.

  3. Make required changes then click Modify.

14.3.2 Deleting Shared Key Domain

You can delete a shared domain if the keys in that domain are not in use, or if you do not require to share any key in that domain.

To delete a shared key domain, perform the following on the Enterprise Credential Vault page:

  1. In the left pane, click Shared Key Management.

  2. In the middle pane, click the delete icon for the required domain.

  3. In the right pane, click Finish.

14.3.3 Modifying Shared Key

You can modify the value of a shared key, and its associated fields only when the key is not in use.

To modify a shared key, perform the following on the Enterprise Credential Vault page:

  1. In the left pane, click Shared Key Management.

  2. In the middle pane, click the domain that includes the key that you want to modify.

  3. In the right pane, double-click the required key.

    or

    In the right pane, click the edit icon next to the required key.

  4. Make the required changes, then click Modify.

14.3.4 Deleting Shared Key

You can delete a shared key only if that key is not in use. When you delete a shared key, it becomes unavailable for all the privileged users.

To delete a shared key, perform the following on the Enterprise Credential Vault page:

  1. In the left pane, click Shared Key Management.

  2. In the middle pane, click the domain that includes the key that you want to modify.

  3. In the right pane, click the delete icon next to the required key.
