Operations Center 5.7 provides the following enhancements to the dashboard:
When configuring the Charting portlet, administrators can control whether users have the ability to select time intervals and date ranges when creating charts. For more information, see Configuring the Charting Portlet in the Operations Center Dashboard Guide.
The dashboard now supports Apache Tomcat version 7.0.62 for the Web server.
The dashboard now supports Liferay version 6.2.6203 for the dashboard database.
The Liferay Database Migration tool makes it easier for you to switch from using the default Hypersonic SQL embedded database to upgrade to an Oracle or SQL Server database. If you have been using the dashboard with the embedded database, it is possible to upgrade your database and preserve existing data.
