You can grant various individual permissions for roles at the page or portlet level.
Page permissions are applicable only to the page for which you configure them.
To assign individual permissions for a page:
On the page, click the edit icon and then click Permissions.
For each role, select the desired permissions.
Click Save.
You can configure permissions for individual portlets, but it is not the best way to implement permissions because you might need to repeat the process for many users.
Portlet permissions are applicable only to the portlet instance for which you configure them.
To configure permissions for a portlet instance:
In the desired portlet, click the options icon, and then select Configuration.
On the Permissions tab, select the desired permissions for each role.
Click Save.
