The condition of the SNMP adapter is visually indicated in the Explorer pane, as shown in Figure 2-1:

The colored icons indicate the status of the adapter. You can tell at a glance if the adapter is up and running (green), or if some other status is indicated. Table 2-1 lists the color codes for adapter status.

Color |
Description |

Red |
The status of the associated element is CRITICAL. |
Orange |
The status of the associated element is MAJOR. |
Yellow |
When the adapter is in the process of starting or stopping, the status is MINOR. |
Blue |
The status of the associated element is INFORMATIONAL. |
Green |
When the adapter is started and running, the status is OK. |
Gray |
When the adapter is stopped, the status is UNKNOWN. |
Brown |
The status of the associated element is UNMANAGED. |
To hide or display the condition indicators:
Right-click the Explorer pane background, then select Show Condition Indicators to hide or display the indicators.
