Users must sign into the portal with user name and password of a valid Dashboard account to access the Dashboard. User name and password can be entered into the Dashboard one of two ways:
Sign In portlet: The Sign In portlet appears on the home page of the Dashboard by default and allows users to enter user name and password that the Dashboard uses to grant access. It can also be accessed by clicking Welcome selecting Sign In.
Auto-login: The Dashboard has auto-login functionality that supports Single Sign On (SSO) capability, which allows users to log in just once into the system and gain access to various resources. If a user has already logged in, that user does not need to log in again to gain access to the Dashboard. Auto-login must be configured.
