NetIQ Identity Applications 4.8.0 Hotfix 1 (184.108.40.206) must be applied if you want to upgrade eDirectory (Identity Vault) on a SLES or RHEL server where Identity Applications 4.8 is installed.

This release includes the following software fix:
Bug 1161280: Identity Vault can be successfully upgraded to 9.2.1 when installed on the same server as Identity Applications.
You must be on Identity Manager 4.8 at a minimum to apply this hotfix.
Download and extract the IDM48-APPS_HF1.zip file from the NetIQ Downloads website.
Navigate to the location where you have extracted the IDM48-APPS_HF1.zip file and run the following command:
rpm -Uvh netiq-nginx-1.14.2-1.x86_64.rpm --nodeps --force
Upgrade the Identity Vault version to 9.2.1 or 9.2.2.
Restart the NGINX service:
systemctl restart netiq-nginx.service
