18.1 Checklist for Installing Analyzer

Before beginning the installation process, NetIQ recommends that you review the following steps:

  1. Review the planning information. For more information, see Section I, Planning to Install Identity Manager.

  1. Review the considerations for installing Analyzer to ensure that the computer meets the prerequisites. For more information, see Meeting System Requirements.

  1. To install Analyzer, see the following sections:

  1. (Optional) To automatically receive and display audit events from Analyzer, install the XDAS client. For more information, see Installing an Audit Client for Analyzer.
