This hotfix resolves specific previous issues. This document outlines why you should install this hotfix.

This hotfix includes the following stabilizing fixes:
Resolves an issue where the group policy preferences of a source GPO were not migrated properly to the new GPO.
Resolves an issue where the Offline Mirror Wizard stopped unexpectedly while importing GPOs from sites.
Resolves an issue where the RunOfflineMirror only imported a site if it was linked to a GPO.
Complete the following steps to install this hotfix on each GPA Console computer.
Log on to the GPA Console computer with a local administrator account.
Close all GPA consoles and programs that are running.
Copy the files listed in the “Modified Files” section to a temporary backup location.
Run the GPA_6.8.0.1_Hotfix.exe file.
Follow the instructions in the wizard until you have finished installing the hotfix.
Repeat Steps 1 through 4 on each GPA Console computer.
Complete the following steps to verify that the installation was successful.
Log on to a GPA Console computer and open the GPA Console.
Right-click the GP Repository node and select Properties.
On the bottom of the About tab, verify that “HF 1” appears.
Complete the following steps to uninstall this hotfix.
Log on to the GPA Console computer with a local administrator account.
Close all GPA consoles and programs that are running.
Restore the backup copies of the files listed in the “Modified Files” section.
This hotfix modifies the following files in the GPA Installation Path/Bin folder on GPA Console computers:
faGPOControl.ocx
faGPR.dll
faGPRInterface.dll
NetIQ.GPA.SyncEngine.dll
