1.5 Fixed Issues

eDirectory 9.2 SP3 includes the following software fixes that resolve several previous issues:

eDirectory Data Migration Fails with an Error Message in OES Environment

Issue: While migrating data from OES 2015 SP1 to OES 2018 SP1, eDirectory fails with an error message. (Bug 1156455)

The DSRepair Utility Fails to Identify the Java Version in OES Environment

Issue: The DSRepair utility fails to identify the installed version of JRE in OES 2018 SP2 server. (Bug 1139074)

eDirectory Becomes Non-Responsive When Event Disk Caching Is Enabled

Issue: eDirectory does not respond when Journal Events and Event Disk Caching are enabled. (Bug 1154264)

Response for LDAP Search Is Slower for groupMembership Attribute

Issue: The response from the eDirectory server takes longer than usual when LDAP Search operation is performed requesting for groupMembership attribute. (Bug 1159490)

The dhostcon loadwait Command Exits Before the Data Backup (DSBK) Process Completes

Issue: When the dhostcon.exe loadwait command is run to execute the DSBK data backup process, it does not wait for the data backup process to complete and displays the following confirmation message:

Module "DSBK" has been unloaded (Bug 1120834)

The Entry ID Is Missing for the High Valued Attributes in iMonitor Value Count Report

Issue: In most cases, the high valued attributes are responsible for high utilization of the eDirectory server(s). Currently, none of the attributes include an Entry ID in the iMonitor Value Count report which takes longer than usual to search for the Entry ID of objects with high valued attributes.

Fix: This version of eDirectory makes Entry ID available with all types of attributes in the iMonitor Value Count report. (Bug 1168917)

Upgrading eDirectory Fails When the CA Supports RSA Certificates Only

Issue: If the CA supports RSA certificates only, the upgrade procedure fails from version 9.x to 9.2 SP2. This happens because the server does not contain any ECDSA certificates.

Fix: A fix has been introduced to check if the CA supports ECDSA certificates. (Bug 1171978)

eDirectory Crashes When CEF Module Is Loaded on Windows

Issue: eDirectory crashes when the CEF module is loaded on Windows platform. (Bug 1171730)
