NetIQ eDirAPI 1.3 resolves several previous issues. Many of these improvements were made in direct response to suggestions from our customers. We thank you for your time and valuable input. 1.0 What’s New

eDirAPI 1.3 provides the following new feature in this release:

1.1 Support for New APIs for Certificate Management and Enhanced Background Authentication

With this version, we are shipping APIs for managing Certificates and Enhanced Background Authentication (EBA). For more details, see the respective Swagger documentation accessible from REST API Documentation in the NetIQ eDirectory Administration Guide.

2.0 Fixed Issues

2.1 REST Services Does Not Support 4096-bit and 8192-bit CA Keys

Fix: With this version, REST services has been enhanced to work with 4096-bit and 8192-bit CA keys.

2.2 Identity Console Fails to Launch

Fix: With this release, Identity Console does launch when LDAP server is configured to disallow anonymous simple bind.

2.3 REST Services Require Administrative Access for Installation

Fix: With this release, the REST container comes up without user credentials when anonymous bind is enabled. However, when anonymous bind is disabled, the REST container comes up only when the user credentials are provided.

NOTE:REST Services 1.3 is the next release after REST 1.0. There was no interim release for REST services.
