Directory and Resource Administrator 9.2.1 Release Notes

This service pack improves usability and resolves several previous issues.

Many of these improvements were made in direct response to suggestions from our customers. We thank you for your time and valuable input. 1.0 System Requirements

This release includes a full version of DRA. For detailed information on hardware requirements and supported operating systems and browsers, see the Directory and Resource Administrator Administrator Guide.

2.0 Installing This Version

This service pack includes a full version of DRA. You can install this version in a clean environment or you can upgrade the DRA Server to DRA 9.2.1 from DRA 9.1 or a later version. The DRA REST Extensions installation requires DRA 9.1 or later for upgrade. For detailed information about installing the Directory and Resource Administrator and Exchange Administrator components and modules, see the Directory and Resource Administrator Installation Guide that is packaged with the release download.

3.0 What’s New

The Public Folder management feature that was added in DRA 9.2 is now supported in the legacy Web Console to enable this feature for a wider audience.

4.0 Addressed Customer Issues

This release includes the following stabilizing fixes:

  • Resolved an issue where Workflow Automation request forms were not displayed after applying the DRA 9.2.0.2 Hotfix. (ENG348218)

  • Resolved an issue where the DRA service crashes or fails when a custom trigger script is enabled. (ENG348232)

  • Resolved an issue where DRA automatically sets the Reply Address flag on multiple email addresses and prevents removing them. (ENG348255)

  • Resolved an issue that caused the standalone IIS Server to fail with Windows authentication. (ENG346475)

  • Resolved an issue that prevented to restore the previous selections by a user in the Where field in the DRA Web Console search. (ENG348279)

  • Resolved an issue where the Web Console fails to display the Skype Online properties when the Common Name or Active Directory Name attributes contain a comma. (ENG347844)

  • Resolved an issue where the DRA Create Computer operation fails when the Domain Admins group is not in the default domain location. (ENG347508)

  • Resolved an issue where the DRA Web Console fails to display the Office 365 tasks on the User Property page. (ENG347162)

  • Resolved an issue where the link for the Log Archive Configuration utility is unavailable in the Start menu. (ENG348158)

  • Resolved an issue where the Web Console fails to display the tasks if a user’s permissions are from a custom role that has nested roles. (ENG348133)

  • Resolved an issue where the Domain Controller was unavailable or unresponsive when executing Exchange related tasks. (ENG346512)

  • Resolved an issue where the Alias field maximum length was limited to 20 characters for the shared mailbox. The field now has a limit of 64 characters. (ENG348278)
