NetIQ Directory and Resource Administrator 10.0.2.2 Release Notes

This patch resolves specific issues with the DRA Server, DRA Win32 Console, DRA REST, and the Web Console. This document outlines why you should install this patch.

1.0 System Requirements

This patch requires Directory and Resource Administrator 10.0.2. For detailed information on hardware requirements and supported operating systems and browsers, see the NetIQ DRA Installation Guide or see the NetIQ DRA Systems Requirement reference.

2.1 Supported Upgrade Paths

Use the table below to determine your applicable upgrade path by version. Note that patch versions are not listed. However, all patches for the versions shown are supported. For example, you can upgrade to DRA 10.0 from DRA 9.2.1 or any of its patches: 9.2.1.1, 9.2.1.2, and so forth.

2.2 Installation Considerations

After you install the patch, perform a hard refresh on the browser to clear the cache and reload the pages. Ctrl+Shift+R or Ctrl+F5 will work with most browsers. This is required to see the changes from the patch.

3.0 Customer Issues Addressed in This Patch

The following issues were addressed in this patch:

  • Resolved an issue that caused error during the prerequisite check for tenant management. (321323)

  • Resolved an issue where the Administration server performs indefinite full accounts cache refresh updates for Azure Active Directory. (315208)

  • Resolved an issue that caused the handle count in the LSASS process to increase each time the DRA AD Collector runs. (317277)

  • Resolved an issue in the Delegation and Configuration Console that caused an error when managing an Azure tenant with an access account that is configured with the global administrator privilege. (316336)

  • Resolved an issue in the Web Console that prevented the addition of members to a group from the properties page for the group. (314033)

  • Resolved an issue in the Delegation and Configuration Console that prevented the management of an Azure tenant without an Exchange license key. (318246)

  • Resolved an issue that produced an error when a password with more than 16 characters is specified for an Azure tenant access account. (312203)

  • Resolved an issue in the Web Console that caused an error while viewing the properties of a logged-in user. (316406)

4.0 Customer Issues Addressed in the Previous Patch

Resolved an issue that caused the DRA Server to stall when a user's DRA Home Directory share is specified with a fully qualified domain name. (297163)

5.0 Uninstalling This Patch

To uninstall the patch:

  1. Log on to the target computer with a local administrator account.

  2. Open the Windows Control Panel window and start the Programs and Features program.

  3. Select View installed updates from the left panel and locate the patch.

  4. Right-click the patch and click Uninstall.
