WAM 8.0 Release Notes

Web Agent Manager (WAM) is a web-based tool that allows you to configure all your AppManager UNIX agent components across the network, which you want to monitor with AppManager, without interacting with the UNIX agents individually.

1.0 What’s New?

This release of Web Agent Manager (WAM) provides the following enhancements:

  • Web based console for managing AppManager UNIX Agents

  • User access control and permissions management

  • Patch management, such as installing and uninstalling patches and patch history

3.0 Contents of the Download Package

When you download the WebAgentManager 8.0.zip, you will get the following files bundled with it:

  • WAMCertSilent.cfg, the silent configuration file for certificate generation.

  • WAMServer.8.0.X.war, the WAM Server Application archive.

  • WebAgentManagerClient.8.0.jar, the WAM Client archive.

  • generateWAMCertificate.bat, the script to generate certificates on Windows host.

  • generateWAMCertificates.sh, the script to generate certificates on Linux host.

4.0 Installing This Module

This release of Web Agent Manager has no known issues.
