1.0 What’s New?

This release includes the following enhancements and software fixes:

1.1 Enhancements

This release provides the following enhancements for NetIQ Advanced Authentication Framework.

Enhanced Performance in Environments with Thousands of Users

This release allows you to specify a base DN for groups, which helps to change the search scope (from subtree to one level). With this feature, you can specify a base DN instead of a root DN for both groups and users (where different containers are used for groups and users). Specifying a root DN may lead to performance issues.

1.2 Fixed Issues

The following issues have been fixed in this release.

A Login Issue with the Account Page

Issue: This release resolves an issue where users who are members of a group and whose name contains brackets are not able to log in to the Account page as an LDAPInvalidFilterError message is displayed.

An Issue with the Self Service Portal Login

Issue: This release resolves an issue where a user who is a member of recursive groups cannot log in to the NetIQ Advanced Authentication Framework Self Service Portal. Previously, NetIQ Advanced Authentication Framework responded with the following error message:

Internal Server Error: RuntimeError maximum recursion depth exceeded.
