18.6 Viewing Data in Analytics Dashboard

Analytics Dashboard displays all the required Access Manager events in the form of graphs. You can view data in each graph only if the events are enabled for the graphs. For information about enabling events for each graph, see Section 18.5, Enabling Events for Each Graph. The graphs are displayed based on the default data query and in the following modes:

18.6.1 Real-time Data

By default, the real-time data mode displays the graphs with data for the last 7 days.

You can add filters, or refresh the data after a specific time duration. You can view data from the time Analytics Server is configured till the present time, but the data that is older than 7 days will not be displayed.

For more information about applying time-filters, see Section 18.9.5, Adding/ Modifying Refresh Time for Real-time Dashboard.

For information about the actions that you can perform on a dashboard, see Section 18.9, Managing Analytics Dashboard

18.6.2 Historic Data

The historic data mode displays the graphs based on the older events that are stored in offline aggregator. The data is displayed for the time duration that administrator specifies in the Analytics Dashboard scheduler.

When an administrator requires the historic data, they can specify the duration in the Scheduler page, then Analytics Server generates an analytic graph report that is used for displaying the graphs with historic data. The Administrator can delete the data manually or specify the duration after which the analytic report must be deleted from the scheduler.

You can view these graphs from the Scheduler screen. For more information about using Scheduler, see Section 18.9.6, Viewing Historic Data.

To return to the default dashboard to view the real-time data, you can click the Goto saved default icon. For information about the actions that you can perform on the dashboard, see Section 18.9, Managing Analytics Dashboard.
