-649 error modifying or viewing object in iManager - Other tab

Situation

When trying to view a user object's attribute values in iManager - Modify Object - Other tab an error -649 is returned. Viewing the object is fine in iMonitor.

Resolution

The user object's oidInstanceData attribute value had grown too large. When this occurs UA is not able to clean it up and iManager cannot allocate enough of a buffer for it. The attribute can be deleted via LDAP. Either use an ldapmodify command or Apache Studio.
