Situation

How to move or copy cmdctrl rules within the nested hierarchy
How to change the order of a policy in Command Control
How to place a rule within another rule

Resolution

The following lists the behavior of the Command Control Console nested rule hierarchy:
  • Default drag and drop will place inside other rules so they become nested.
  • ALT + drag and drop will move the rule so it is at the same level, either above or below, as the selected rule so that they become siblings in hierarchy.
  • CTRL + drag and drop will copy the selected rule and place within the hierarchy.
