Situation
"AIXAuditObject__singleton.err" file growing extremely large in Security Agent for UNIX agent machines for Change Guardian.
Location of file - "/usr/netiq/vsau/local/tmp/AIXAuditObject__singleton.err"
Resolution
UNIX Agent Patch p751p102 has to be applied.
Installing This Hotfix:
Complete the following steps to install this hotfix.
NOTE:
This hotfix is not applicable on AIX, HP-UX, SunOS systems.
1. Click Patch > Patch Manager.
2. Click Load Patch to add the p751p102 patch to the list of
available patches.
3. Select the computers on which you want to apply the
patch.
4. Select the patch.
5. Click Start Install.
6. Click Back to close the Patch Manager.
Cause
This
hotfix resolves an issue where the disk partition gets filled up due to
the errors in the detectd log files (/usr/netiq/vsau/local/tmp/*) after
installing Unix-Agent 7.5.1
