System Requirements

This hotfix requires NetIQ Directory and Resource Administrator 9.0.3.

Installing This Version

To install this hotfix, close all DRA consoles and run the DRA_9_0_3_Hotfix1.exe file on each

Administration server and DRA client computer.

Installation Considerations

The following considerations apply when you install this version:

DRA no longer requires installation of Exchange Server management tools on the Administration

server computer. To remotely manage an Exchange Server 2010 or 2013 server, DRA now

requires only Powershell 2.0 and Windows Remote Management (WinRM) 2.0 to be installed on

the Administration server.

Addressed Customer Issues

This release includes the following stabilizing fixes:

Resolved an issue that generated a processing error. (ENG343206)

Resolved an issue that caused DRA to stop unexpectedly. Upon restarting, it would then initiate

a FACR. (ENG343207)

Resolved an issue in which the number of objects that DRA reported to be in its recycle bin was

larger than the number of objects reported by the Live AD. (ENG343156)

Resolved an issue that prevented the proper functioning of the Microsoft Office 365 mailbox

statistics feature. (ENF343661)

Resolved an issue that caused Microsoft Office 365 IACRs to fail. (ENG343663)

Resolved an issue prevented the DRA license from updating in the Office 365 portal.

Resolved an issue that resulted in performance issues with Office 365. (ENG343896)

Resolved an issue that caused the Cache Loader application to stop unexpectedly during an

Office 365 IACR. (ENG343620)

DRA no longer makes hard checks for Office 365 access accounts. (ENG343662)

Uninstalling This Hotfix

Complete the following steps to uninstall this hotfix.

To uninstall this hotfix:

1. Log on to the target computer with a local administrator account.

2. Open the Windows Control Panel window and start the Programs and Features program.

3. Select View installed updates from the left panel and locate the hotfix.

4. Select the hotfix and click Uninstall from the toolbar.

NOTE: If DRA was installed with a custom ADAM port, DRA will no longer function after uninstalling

this hotfix. To resolve this issue, shut down the ADAM instance, change its port value in the registry,

and then restart the ADAM instance.
