Why Install This Release?

Release 7.1.20.0 of AppManager for Cisco CallManager resolves the following issues:

  • CCM_SystemUsage job returns CPU usage of greater than 100%. This release resolves an issue in which the CiscoCallMgr_CCM_SystemUsage Knowledge Script job returns CPU usage values of greater than 100% on servers with multiple processors. The job does not check for multiple processors and falsely indicates that a process is using more than 100% CPU. After you install this release, the job determines the number of processors on the server and accurately calculates CPU usage for each process. (ENG219283)
  • Report_MGCPChannelUsage script does not recognize available PRIs. This release resolves an issue in which the CiscoCallMgr_Report_MGCPChannelUsage Knowledge Script does not allow you to select the Primary Rate Interface (PRI) channel for which you collected data. Instead, the script allows you to select PRIs that you have deleted from the AppManager console. After you install this release, the Report_MGCPChannelUsage Knowledge Script allows you to select from current PRIs, including the PRI for which you collected data. (ENG225040)
  • Event for LossOfHardwarePhones job has no short message. This release resolves an issue in which the CiscoCallMgr_LossOfHardwarePhones Knowledge Script job raises an event when the Cisco CallManager service cannot be found. However, this event does not provide a message in the Message column of the Events pane. After you install this release, the Message column is populated for all events raised by the LossOfHardwarePhones script. (ENG235037)
  • CiscoBackupStatus job cannot locate log file. This release resolves an issue in which the CiscoCallMgr_CiscoBackupStatus Knowledge Script job raises an event indicating that it cannot find the backup.log file in C:\program,files\common,files\cisco\logs\bars\backup\.... The script replaces any space in the path with a comma. After you install this release, a code change allows the script to correctly look for the backup.log file in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Cisco\logs\bars\backup\.... (ENG243992, ENG268628)
  • LocationOutOfBandwidth job returns invalid results when monitoring multiple locations. This release resolves an issue in which the CiscoCallMgr_LocationOutOfBandwidth Knowledge Script job measures the change in a performance counter between one location and another, rather than the change between the previous and current values for a performance counter at one location. After you install this release, the job correctly determines the change in a performance counter at one location, regardless of the number of locations being monitored. (ENG256599)

This release of AppManager for Cisco CallManager replaces all releases discussed in Previous Releases.

When you install the module, these files are copied by default to the the Program Files\NetIQ folder on the download computer. Consider copying these files to the \windows_installation\setup\Setup Files directory on the same distribution computer on which you saved your main AppManager software and documentation.
