Each web service that uses Cloud Security Service as a trusted identity provider must be configured to use a connector. A connector's fundamental function is to aid in establishing SAML federation (for single sign-on and logout) between the service and the user.

NCSS Connectors are currently available for the following web services. Each connector allows users to access the specific service or application, while access is controlled locally through the customer's enterprise LDAP server.

  • GoogleApps
  • Microsoft Exchange
  • SalesForce
  • WebEx
  • Zimbra
  • Zoho
  • ResX - Travel Management
  • Microsoft SharePoint 2007
  • Microsoft SharePoint 2010
  • Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)
  • Generic Proxy
  • ZoHo CRM
  • SAML
  • Access Manager

The following connector integration kits are included with NCSS and can be used to create new connectors:

  • Surface Connector Integration Guide: Surface Connectors are simple to create and can be used with web services that support SAML 2.0.
  • Deep Connectors Integration Kits are available to create connectors for web services that do not support SAML 2.0. The following Connector Integration Kits can be used to create connectors to Java and Apache based services.
    • Apache Platform Connector Integration Kit
    • Java Platform Connector Integration Kit
