fix

Nice values balance the percentage of CPU cycles that are reserved for processing rules and the percentage of CPU cycles that are reserved for running other programs and services. By default the report nice is set to zero, which means that it will run at the system default Nice value. When you change the value to be a positive number, the reports will be lower in the OS processing queue. The higher the value, the lower the priority will be.

To change the Nice value for reports:

  1. Expand IT Assets  > Managed Groups.
  2. Right-click your computer and click Run Tasks.
  3. Select the UNIX tab.
  4. Select Actions.
  5. Expand System.
  6. Select Set Report Nice Value.
  7. Click the arrow to add Set Report Nice Value to the Tasks to Run column.
  8. Click Next.
  9. Enter the new Nice value in Priority.
  10. Click Finish or Schedule and set the time as appropriate.
