This version of the User Application driver resolves specific issues.
This patch requires NetIQ Identity Manager 4.8.5 at a minimum.
Install this driver patch on the Identity Vault server(s).
2.1 Installing this Patch on a Linux ServerLog in to the Identity Vault server as a root user.
Stop the User Application driver.
Stop the eDirectory service by running the following command:
ndsmanage stopall
Download and unzip the contents of the IDM_UAD_485_P1.zip file to a temporary location on your computer.
Navigate to the <Driver Patch Directory>/Linux/ directory.
Install the new RPM by running the following command:
rpm -Uvh netiq-DXMLuad-4.8.5-0100.noarch.rpm
Start the eDirectory service by running the following command:
ndsmanage startall
Start the User Application driver if not already started.
Stop the User Application driver.
Stop the eDirectory service.
Download and unzip the contents of the IDM_UAD_485_P1.zip file to a temporary location on your computer.
Navigate to the <Driver Patch folder>\Windows folder.
Copy the wssdk.jar and xcd-all.jar files to <Identity Vault installation path>\eDirectory\lib directory.
Start the eDirectory service.
Start the User Application driver if not already started.
The following section provides information on the issues fixed in the current and previous releases.
This release contains software fixes for issues detected in the wssdk.jar and xcd-all.jar files using Micro Focus Fortify Static Code Analyzer.
Defect 231618: The DirXML-EntitlementResult attribute has a high value.
