The Platform Agent is automatically installed if NetIQ Identity Manager Metadirectory Server, NetIQ Identity Manager Connected System, or Fanout Agent option is selected during the Identity Manager installation. IMPORTANT:The Platform Agent must be installed on every server running Identity Manager if you want to log Identity Manager events.
