20.1 Receiving Compliance Details from Secure Configuration Manager

You must configure Sentinel to receive compliance details associated with the Secure Configuration Manager events. To receive compliance details from Secure Configuration Manager:

  1. In the Sentinel Web Console, click Search Setup > SCM Configuration.

  2. In the SCM Configuration tab, specify the following information:

    • IP address/DNS name: Secure Configuration Manager server IP address or hostname.

    • Port: The port on which Secure Configuration Manager core service listens.

    • Protocol: The security protocol that the Secure Configuration Manager core service uses.

    • User name: Secure Configuration Manager server user name.

    • Password: Secure Configuration Manager server password.

  3. Click Validate and Save to validate and save the configuration.

    If the connection is valid, the Secure Configuration Manager server prompts you to accept the server certificate.

  4. Accept the server certificate.

    Sentinel establishes a connection with the Secure Configuration Manager server.

  5. (Optional) Click Save to save the configuration and validate later.

    You can click Validate in the Action column in the table to validate the configuration.
