The procedures in this chapter guide you through upgrading the Sentinel appliance.
Sentinel now stores Security Intelligence data, alerts data, and so on in PostgreSQL instead of MongoDB. You can the upgrade the appliance only after you migrate data from MongoDB to PostgreSQL successfully.
The data stored in MongoDB is retained as a backup and you can delete it after upgrading Sentinel.
