Description

Event Manager for Firewalls allows you to monitor Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server for suspicious activities that may indicate a security breach. Event Manager for Firewalls helps you secure your internet access points and network resources by providing a single point of monitoring for multiple ISA Servers in your enterprise. Event Manager for Firewalls alerts you in real-time to critical security events detected by ISA Servers, allowing you to take corrective action.

Event Manager for Firewalls monitors firewall events generated by ISA Server. Event Manager for Firewalls highlights events that may indicate external attacks, so you can quickly take corrective or preventive actions. Event Manager for Firewalls provides an important new capability.

This version includes new technology for dynamically updating Security Manager modules. The AutoSync Server allows you to download and install updated modules between Security Manager releases.

Installation Requirements

A Windows agent monitoring ISA Server must meet the basic Windows agent system requirements. For more information about agent requirements, see the Installation Guide for NetIQ Security Manager.

Installation and Configuration Considerations

You can install this module using the Module Installer. Event Manager for ISA Server does not require special configuration. For more information about installing this module, see the NetIQ Security Manager for Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server Monitoring Guide in the following folder on the user interface computer:
