Novell SecureLogin 7.0 Service Pack 3 Hotfix 2 Readme

Novell SecureLogin is a single sign-on application. It consists of multiple, integrated security systems that provide authentication and single sign-on to networks and applications. It provides a single entry point to the corporate network and its user resources, increasing security while enhancing compliance with corporate security policies. Novell SecureLogin also eliminates the requirement for users to remember multiple usernames, and passwords and automatically enters them for users when required. Novell SecureLogin 7.0 Service Pack 3 Hotfix 2 improves usability, and resolves several previous issues. Many of these improvements were made in direct response to suggestions from our customers. 1.0 What’s New?

Novell SecureLogin 7.0 Service Pack 3 Hotfix 2 includes the following enhancements and software fixes.

1.1 Enhancements

Mozilla Firefox Support

SecureLogin 7.0 SP3 hotfix 2 supports Mozilla Firefox 13.0 and Mozilla Firefox 14.0.

New Registry Key

A new registry key, IgnoreLastSuccessfulADAMConnection, is provided to disable the LastSuccessfulADAMConnection registry setting. (BUG 727454)

1.2 Software Fixes

User Returns to the Network Login Prompt when the LDAP Server is not Available

User returns to the local cache login prompt when the LDAP server is not available. (BUG 731501)

The If-text <text> Condition does not Pass

The If -text <text> condition passes and the subsequent statements following the condition executes successfully. (BUG 764243)

Delay in SSO to the Security Window of SharePoint Server

The performance of SSO to the security window of the SharePoint server is enhanced by reducing the delay. The delay has been reduced by excluding flash windows and by reducing the sleep timer. (BUG 769083)

Slomoz Fails to Upgrade

Slomoz now upgrades successfully when SecureLogin is upgraded from 7.0 SP2 to 7.0 SP3 HF2. (BUG 772026)

Password Protected NSL Tray Icon does not Accept Smart Card Pin.

SecureLogin accepts the smart card pin to unlock the NSL tray icon. (BUG 741037)

TLaunch does not Terminate

TLaunch now terminates as expected when there is an error while connecting to HLLAPI. (BUG 751855)

SecureLogin does not Recognize Oracle Form Window

The issue with SecureLogin not recognizing certain types of Oracle Form window is now fixed. (BUG 759128)

Slmanager does not Display Objects in a Large Container

Slmanager now displays the objects in a container with more than thousand objects. (BUG 774157)
