NetIQ SecureLogin 8.8 Service Pack 2 Release Notes

NetIQ SecureLogin 8.8 Service Pack 2 enhances the product capability and resolves several previous issues.

Many of these improvements were made in direct response to suggestions from our customers. We thank you for your time and valuable input. We hope you continue to help us ensure that our products meet all your needs.

1.0 What’s New?

1.1 Enhancement

This release includes the following enhancement:

Support to Whitelist WebSSO Defined Applications

An additional Web preference is added to enable WebSSO defined applications as whitelist. When set to Yes, the whitelist rules are applied, that is, other web applications are not taken into consideration for Wizard auto prompting and Single Sign-On (SSO). You can use Add Application to override the preference and still consider applications for Wizard auto prompting and SSO.

By default, the preference is set to No.

2.0 Security Vulnerability Fixes

This release provides a fix for CVE 2022-0778, OpenSSL vulnerability issue.

4.0 Installing or Upgrading

You can either upgrade from the previous versions of SecureLogin or perform a new installation. For information about how to install and how to upgrade, see SecureLogin Installation Guide.

5.0 Supported Upgrade Paths

To upgrade to NetIQ SecureLogin 8.8.2, you must be on one of the following versions of NetIQ SecureLogin:

  • 8.8.1

  • 8.8.1 Patch 1

  • 8.8.1 Patch 2
