1.3 Software Fixes

This release includes the following software fixes:

slbroker.exe Stops Working

Issue: When a workstation is on idle and SecureLogin is running, SecureLogin displays the slbroker.exe has stopped working error message. This issue occurs randomly. (Bug 1094115)

SecureLogin Stops Working

Issue 1: SecureLogin stops working without displaying any error message. The system tray icon does not respond and SecureLogin does not provide single sign-on. (Bug 1126583) (Bug 1112709)

Issue 2: SecureLogin stops working when a Win32 application is started. (Bug 1125821)

SecureLogin Displays Error Messages During RDP Sessions

Issue: SecureLogin displays multiple error message during Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) sessions. These error messages are displayed at the beginning and end of the RDP session. (Bug 1084346) (Bug 1129381) (Bug 108592)

SecureLogin Prompts for Passphrase

Issue: When a Citrix server running SecureLogin 8.7 is connected with a local workstation running SecureLogin 8.6 or 8.6.1, then SecureLogin on the local workstation prompts user to provide passphrase. This issue occurs every time the workstation SecureLogin is restarted. This issue occurs in SecureLogin 8.6 and 8.6.1 because SHA256 NRKey is used to unlock the user data in place of SHA1 NRKey. (Bug 1128330)

Fix: This issue is fixed in this release. This fix is applicable for users that are using 3DES as encryption.

GetReg Command Is Not Working

Issue: The GetReg command does not provide the SecureLogin version and Primary Store information. It displays the <NOTSET> message in the output. (Bug 1124174)

Fix: You can use the following command to obtain the SecureLogin version and Primary Store information.

GetReg "HKLM\Software\Protocom\SecureLogin\InternalVersion" ?ProductID

GetReg "HKLM\Software\Protocom\SecureLogin\Security\PrimaryStore" ?PStore

For more information, see GetReg in the NetIQ SecureLogin Application Definition Guide.

SecureLogin Does Not Set Value for $variable on Web Applications

Issue: When using single sign-on scripts, SecureLogin does not set value for $variable in the script. For example, if a user name does not exist, then SecureLogin assigns <empty> for $username. It should assign <NOTSET> in place of <empty>. This issue occurs only in the web applications and does not occur in the Windows applications. (Bug 1131985)
