Complete the following steps to deploy your Oracle endpoints.
Checklist Items
Ensure that the Windows agent version supports the Oracle databases you want to manage. For more information, see the NetIQ Secure Configuration Manager Technical Information web page.
Ensure that your environment meets the specified requirements for installing the Windows agent. For more information, see Windows Agent Computer Requirements and Planning Oracle Endpoint Deployment.
Install the Windows agent locally or deploy the agent to remote agent computers. For more information, see Section 8.0, Installing or Updating an Agent on a Local Computer and Section 7.0, Installing or Updating Agents on Remote Computers.
Ensure that your computers meet the specified requirements for Oracle endpoints. For more information, see Oracle Endpoint Requirements.
Add the Oracle endpoints that you want to audit to the registered Windows agent. For more information, see Adding Oracle Endpoints in Secure Configuration Manager.
