If you need further assistance with any issue, please contact Technical Support.
Using Special Characters Affects Returned DataUse of special characters, such as !*#)_%, in Secure Configuration Manager can cause the following issues in the Dashboard:
Cannot Display Complete Security Check Detail for Large ReportsThe Dashboard truncates security check details that return more than 500 rows of data. Security checks that produce extremely large amounts of data, such as 20,000 rows of data, will time out and the Dashboard displays the error There is too much data to display. Please view the data using the Secure Configuration Manager console. (ENG274806) Cannot Install the Database on Compressed DrivesThe Dashboard does not support installation on compressed drives. You will not receive an error, but the component is not installed. You must install Dashboard components on non-compressed drives. (ENG300766) Error Displaying Reports in Internet ExplorerThe Dashboard displays an empty report with an error when trying to display full or summary reports for endpoints in a large nested path. For example, if you try to run a report for an endpoint in the following path, the resulting report displays an error: Group folderA\Group folderB\Group folderC\Group folderD\Group folderE\Group folderF\Group folderG\Group folderH\Group folderI\Group folderJ\Group folderK. For more information, see Microsoft knowledge base article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/208427. To view the report, use another Web browser, such as Firefox. (ENG304046) HTTP 404 Errors on Computers Running IISAn IIS error may cause a HTTP 404 - File not Found error when launching the Dashboard. For more information, see Microsoft knowledge base article 248033 at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/248033. (ENG285169) Active Scripting in Internet ExplorerTo properly display the help files associated with some wizards, the Management Portal components require active scripting in Internet Explorer. Trusted Sites in Internet Explorer for Configuring ActivitiesTo properly display help files in the Dashboard, you must add Dashboard to your Trusted Sites list in Internet Explorer. (ENG281748) Coexistence Issues with Installed Resource Management ComponentsYou cannot install the Dashboard on a computer with any Resource Management components already installed. NetIQ Products, such as NetIQ Aegis and NetIQ AppManager, may use different versions of the Resource Management components causing compatibility issues. If you have these products installed in your environment, ensure the computers where you plan to install the Dashboard do not already have Resource Management components installed.
