The SMTP Settings option allows you to provide details of your e-mail server so reports such as the Compliance Auditor reports, and custom command control reports can be automatically emailed to the necessary personnel.
To configure the SMTP settings:
On the home page of the console, click Settings > External Services > SMTP Server.
Configure the following fields:
Host: Specify the IP address of your e-mail server.
Domain: If you are using a Lotus Notes server, specify the name of your SMTP domain.
Enable SSL Move the slider to the right to enable SSL communication with a SMTP server. Import the certificate authority (CA) certificates into primary and backup managers for verifying the SMTP server certificate.
Port: Specify the port of your e-mail server.
Username: SMTP server username.
Password: SMTP server password.
Server Email ID: SMTP server Email ID.
Email Body: Select either HTML or Plain Text as the E-mail body.
Click Update.
