A resource is required to be associated with a resource pool to secure it and manage its privileged access. You can add resource to new resource pool, existing resource pool, or include a specific resource pool for each resource.
Click Credential Vault > Resources.
Select one or more resources of same type from the list.
Click Actions > Add to Resource Pool.
The Add to Resource Pool window appears.
Select one of the following:
Create a new Resource Pool: To creates a resource pool and add the selected resources to the new pool.
Specify the Name and Description of resource pool.
Add to Existing Resource Pool: To add the selected resources to the existing resource pool of Access Control.
Select the preferred resource pool from the list.
Create Individual Resource Pools: To add an exclusive resource pool for each selected resource.
The name of each resource pool is in the format: resource-name_pool.
For example, if resources are Resr1 and Resr2 then creating individual resource pool results in pools, Resr1_pool and Resr2_pool.
Click Add.
The Resource Pool name is displayed for each resource in the Resources page.
