Privileged Access Manager does not allow one resource to be associated with more than one resource pool. Due to this limitation, managing assignments and permission specific to the User Roles is a tedious task. From 4.5 version, the administrator can create a logical set of similar resource pools as Resource pool group. Grouping similar resource pools simplifies managing assignment and permissions collectively specific to the User Roles. This reduces the number of assignments substantially.
