The default encryption method that is used in Credential Vault is AES-256 in CBC mode. You can use additional encryption methods in Credential Vault. Select the relevant encryption method from the Default Credential Vault Cipher list. These encryption methods are FIPS compliant and ensures that the product is secure and works seamlessly when switched to the FIPS mode.
